Hello, it’s yer banjo playin’ friend, Andru, writing from the Twisted Branch Tea Bazaar in Charlottesville, VA. My mother will be happy to hear that I’m drinking Lapsang Souchong — or as she so fondly calls it, “smokey tea” — and that it’s the finest cup of tea I’ve had in a long while. Hi, Mom!

Okay, greetings are done. Now to business. I’m traveling. I’m playing shows. I brought a fiddle. And I finally have a new song or two. So please visit me and I’ll play sad songs, happy songs, and travelin’ songs fer you, yer friends, yer children and yer neighbors.

And for those of you who wonder, my old postal jeep mentioned in the last of these newsletters is on its way to a new home amongst the oxen and blacksmythes at Tillers International: http://tillersinternational.org

Lemme know if you’d like to help advertise an upcoming show ’round you. I’ll happily mail some posters and something to show my appreciation. You can also download flyers and such from the website: http://promo.andrubemis.com

… and if anyone plans to drive from Richmond or Charlottesville to Harrisonburg for this weekend’s Mennofolk Festival, I’m looking for a ride.

All my banjo pluckin’ best to you ~ Andru
