Piano Rescue: Early 1900s Beckwith Empire Revival style upright

* NO LONGER AVAILABLE *

This beautiful early 1900’s oak Empire Revival style Beckwith upright is looking for a new home. Its current owners got it a few years ago, intending to learn to play, but they never got around to it. It’s in great playing condition. I was only able to take a quick look inside, but the hammers and dampers–at a minimum–appear to have been replaced within recent years, and barely touched since then.

The piano is located in Binghamton’s Westside, on a first floor right by the front door. There are a few steps down from the front porch to the driveway. If you arrange to move the piano, I’ll tune and service it, and will make any necessary repairs, for no charge when it gets to its new home in the Binghamton area. I’m happy to recommend a local piano mover, or can give some logistical help and advice if you have a few strong friends and a UHaul.
