Binghamton Food Rescue’s Friendsgiving Potluck & Fundraiser @ Chenango Craftsman – 2 Dec 2018

Binghamton Food Rescue’s
DECEMBER 2, 2018 @ 6:30 PM

Binghamton Food Rescue is hosting its first annual Friendsgiving Potluck Dinner at the Chenango Craftsman house! All are welcome – from farmers to food recipients, and everyone in-between. Kindly RSVP by Saturday so we can know how many people to plan for.

There is no entry fee, but we will have a donation jar by the door. Pay what you can! The only ticket is food – either a meal you have cooked up for the potluck, fruits and vegetables, nonperishable items, or your Thanksgiving leftovers. If you have an instrument and/or game you love to play, bring it along.

Activities include:

  • Eating scrumptious foods
  • Getting to know your fellow community members, including BFR!
  • A silent auction with various handmade products such as produce bags and dried flower art
  • Hard cider produced using “tired” apples from local farms
  • Music with Andru Bemis

All donations will go directly to BFR’s expansion and sustainability. This includes costs such as a permanent space and signage, a refrigerator, future food workshops, and more. Feel free to bring additional fundraising and programming ideas to the party! For details, location, and more information, contact Andru.
